Raymond Blanc OBE is the founder and chef patron of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, the only country house hotel in the UK to have held two Michelin stars for over 30 consecutive years. A household name through decades of television, bestselling cookbooks, and an unwavering commitment to culinary excellence. When his digital presence needed to match that legacy, he came to us.
The Challenge
Raymond’s existing WordPress site had served its time. Pages loaded slowly, the design felt dated against the calibre of the brand, and his team had zero editorial independence. Every recipe update, every seasonal story, every event announcement required developer involvement. For a chef who produces content as prolifically as he cooks, that bottleneck was unacceptable. The site needed to feel as premium as a meal at Le Manoir, load instantly, and let his team publish without picking up the phone.
What We Built
We built Raymond’s new platform from scratch on Next.js and Supabase, designing a custom CMS specifically around how his team actually works. Recipes are managed through a purpose-built editor handling ingredients, method steps, rich photography, and seasonal tagging.
Editorial content flows through a publishing pipeline with draft, review, and scheduled release stages. The front-end delivers the visual storytelling Raymond’s brand demands — full-bleed imagery, fluid animations, and a reading experience that does justice to three decades of culinary authority.
His team now publishes independently, on their own schedule, without touching a line of code.
Results
Sub-second page loads across the entire site. Complete editorial independence for the team from day one. The Beef Wellington recipe alone has been viewed over 55,000 times. Most importantly, Raymond personally vouches for LogicLeap to his hospitality contacts, and his introduction has directly opened doors to new client relationships in the luxury hospitality sector.
“My new website has been a huge enhancement. Josh is exceptional at taking my ideas and translating them into something visually powerful — he truly understood my vision and brought it to life. He added clarity, strength and ease of access.
